Made from solid European Oak, this sleek contemporary design pops with the vibrancy, texture and colour of the Valchromat® drawer fronts and the funky red drawer boxes. Designed to give a loving home to approximately 800 vinyl LP’s, the top row of drawers displays album art. A shrine to the vinyl gods.

A Mid-century style piece made to store vinyl records using walnut timber and veneers together with black Valchromat detailing. The grain of the veneer runs horizontally across the upright tambours creating a stunning visual effect.
Inside the shelves are gently angled and lit with sensor-operated LEDs to make record selection easier from above.
This white lacquered glass-topped display table is the centrepiece of a bespoke dressing room in the same style. Each face has open display spaces and two sides have a drawer and knee space beneath.
Soft close drawers with a slatted towel rack below. Continuous veneer runs across the drawer fronts. Finished with Osmo Top Oil.
Solid oak console table with turned legs. Made in a traditional farmhouse style with ash drawer boxes and continuous grain running across the drawer fronts. Finished with a “raw” look hard wax oil.
Designed in the style of an old school coat rack, this solid elm cabinet is backed with ash tongue and groove boards with decorative elm butterfly inlays. The cabinet is a symmetrical design with book-matched panels in the traditional frame and panel doors.
Designed to seat twelve, this three metre long bespoke dining table is made from solid elm. The strength and support come from two stretchers rather than a traditional apron frame, giving the table a stunning contemporary style.
The finish is hard wax oil.
A mid-century style oak bookcase designed for a home in Kemp Town. It has an Antique Oak wood wax finish with a lacquered back panel to match the room’s colour scheme.
Made to complement an existing mid-century piece, walnut is stained to resemble teak, and I created an edge profile that takes inspiration from the style of the time. The alcove also provides a source of light with LED lighting glowing from above and down the edges of the installation.
Bespoke vinyl storage furniture with shelves for LPs, drawers for 7″ singles and CDs and top boxes for displaying box sets. Mini LED spotlights are integrated to enhance the displays and make browsing clearer. The bottom shelf is angled upwards to be more user-friendly.
Stained oak units with an attractive bevelled front to frame the wavy detail on the cabinet doors. The units are mounted on to the walls with hidden fixings and there is a narrow shadow line either side, making them appear to float within the alcove.
Designed to maximise shelving space for large book collection in a small space these shelving units are built with bespoke steel frames and walnut shelves with softly shaped front edges.
I installed this sapele veneered double home office in the spare bedroom of my clients’ home. A drop-down bureau with plenty of storage in the left alcove and a desk with a pull-out keyboard shelf and floating box shelves above, in the right.
I’m a music lover and my hobby collecting vinyl has directed my interest in designing/making various styles of storage for LP collections whatever their size. I am a Brighton furniture maker and I provide a friendly and personal service. I would love to talk to you about the design ideas you have and my design and commissioning process.
If you like, I can advise on the choice of materials and finishes for your design to achieve precisely the style you are looking for.
Initially I like to make a home visit to be sure that I reflect your own style as I develop the design. It is also helpful to see the space and light in which the piece will sit.
I’ll then produce sketches for you to consider. On your approval, I will continue with more detailed plans from which I will craft your own unique piece of furniture.
The production time depends on the size and complexity of the commission, but with handmade furniture you can expect me to take a few weeks to make your bespoke design. Good quality bespoke furniture is unavoidably more costly than shop-bought pieces but I aim to provide excellent value for money with careful design and appropriate selection of materials and fixings.

Fixing wonky chairs, splicing a broken table leg, restoring worn drawer runners, patching failing veneers – whatever the ailment, I am happy to undertake sympathetic repairs to your furniture whether heirlooms or family favourites.
I can do polishing and surface renovations on site if required, more complex furniture repairs are done in my workshop.

I have benches available to rent in my well-equipped cabinet making workshop which offers use of up-to-date and reliable machinery and is located 10 miles from Brighton in Wivelsfield, RH17. Benches are available for rent on a full-time or part-time basis.
